Agriculture in Interior Alaska? Yes, Interior Alaska is a place that encourages many people to start an agricultural enterprise.
Hi, I'm Jo!
A year ago, I started my project, Jo’s Table Alaska as an advocacy effort to shine a light on Interior Alaska’s local farmers, growers, and producers.
Interior Alaska has seen many farming enterprises, some large scale but mostly small scale farmers that feel a deep connection to the land, food systems, sustainability and food security. All huge challenges for our region of the state. These people work hard to bring produce to farmers’ markets and provide healthy nutritious food for all out tables. I admire their work and want to share their journey, their challenges and their stories.
I bring their stories to you and bring awareness of their work, and their contribution to our food security in the Interior.
Join me! As I explore the world of Interior Alaska Agriculture, and advocate for those who bring a meal to our tables. To Jo’s Table.
